Frequently Asked Questions
Harrow International School (HIS)
Harrow International School (HIS) was founded in 1998 by Stuart Morris, a former Deputy Head of Papplewick Preparatory School in Ascot, United Kingdom, and later Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar in Malaysia. The decision to establish the school in Thailand was also influenced by its close connection to Harrow-on-the-Hill School in London, which has a longstanding royal link with Thailand. From the 19th century through the late 20th century, a total of 23 Thai royal princes received their education at Harrow, including Prince Mahidol. Under Mr. Morris's leadership, the school was initially set up in rented premises in the heart of Bangkok, and within four years, the student population quickly grew to 800.
