1. Provide evidence of being in the top 1% in terms of expertise in your chosen field & have received international or national acclaim.

Flowchart

1. Select a qualifying EB-5 project

2. File your investor petition (Form I-526E)

3. Once your I-526E petition is approved, file Form I-485 if you are already in the US or file Form DS-260 if you are in your home country, to receive conditional permanent residency (a Green card).

4. After 2 years, remove the condition green card. Once condition removed, you will be granted green card.

9. If my petition get denied, is my money returned right away or is it locked in the investment?

Most investment do have provisions in place to return the investor’s capital. The refund policy might differ from projects. We will run through the agreement with you and obtain your approval.


10. Can a gift be the source of my $800,000 investment?

Gift can indeed be a valid source.


11. Can cryptocurrency be a source of funds for my investment?

Provide proof that cryptocurrency funds are obtained legally and that you are the rightful owner.


12. Can my EB5 investment be my own business?

Can. Only difference is direct investments have to create 10 full time jobs.


13. Is the investment capital-guaranteed?

EB5 investment is not capital-guarantee, but you can choose the project you preferred.


14. What is exit tax in USA?

This tax is designed to capture any unrealized gains on certain assets at the time of expatriation. The exit tax rules are complex and depend on various factors, including the value of your assets, your income, and the length of time you were a U.S. resident.   • Assets that haven’t been taxed yet but would be in the future,      such as capital gains on stocks or funds in retirement accounts

  • The tax      applies to all property that you own on the date of renunciation,      including personal items such as cars, boats, and jewelry
